
Once a company selects Wall Consulting Group to fill a senior level
position, we initiate a highly confidential, multi-step search
process
as outlined below. Each step is managed in conjunction with your
selection team.
Evaluation
The search begins with an extensive evaluation of your needs. We
will work closely with your team to gain a full understanding of
the company, culture and organization, and job specifications. We
also help in developing a profile of the behavioral and personality
traits of the ideal candidate.
Research
Once the job description is complete, the candidate research phase
of the search begins. We engage in extensive industry research,
develop industry networks and contact our own recruiting sources.
We pursue all avenues and leads to develop a highly talented pool
of candidates.
Screening & Reference
Based on the information gathered, we telephone screen prospective
candidates. Thorough reference checks are then completed for the
qualifying candidates.
Testing
Some client’s request candidates take specific tests to help
in the evaluation. This might include personality, behavioral and
even skills testing. We will coordinate whatever testing you require.
The Short List
Once the screening and reference checking is complete, we work
closely with you to select the most promising candidates. We then
arrange for in-person interviews for those on the short-list. Typically,
the short-list consists of the top two or three people.
The Offer
Once you are satisfied with a candidate, an offer is put together.
Wall Consulting will act as liaison in the negotiation process.
We help you to anticipate any internal “red tape” or
roadblocks ahead of time to facilitate a quick and successful response.
Follow-Up
We continue to stay in-touch after a candidate is hired to help
smooth the transition. We want to ensure both your company and candidate
enjoy a mutually rewarding relationship.
